From overwhelmed to in control: My kitchen transformation
As a single mom, I juggled work, kids, and a messy kitchen. My apartment always felt chaotic, and I was overwhelmed with no time to fix it.
No matter how much I cleaned, my kitchen stayed cluttered and stressful. It felt like a never-ending battle that impacted my whole life.
One summer, I took three full weeks of my vacation to tackle my entire apartment- kitchen included. I`d recently read Marie Kondo`s book and decided to implement the Konmari method to declutter my whole space. Focusing on what sparks joy, I started by tackeling every corner of my home, and that was the game changer. It was intense, but it finally broke the cycle of chaos and clutter.
Suddenly, my kitchen became more organized, and I felt in control. The clutter no longer stressed me out, and I could finally enjoy my space again.
